New LO's

New LO's using new paper from GCD Studios I got from CHA. They have some really cute paper pad's that coordinate very well. The first 3 shown here are combination from Whoop De Doo adn Daydream Ensemble.
At first I thought I dont know how I would use it but once I started playing around with it I cant run out of ideas. I have not scrapbook like this in a long while. I mean pretty good LO's in a short amount of time. I finished 3 complete LO's tonight and 2 last night. Not bad if you ask me.

Last year picture of Isabella with our easter eggs that we decorated. I am planning on displaying this on a stand when it get's close to easter since it is such a 3 dimensional page. I luv how the technique of folding the paper like this creates an instand frame and making the picture stand out and important. I luv the loo on her face in these pictures so it has to be the center of attention.
Picture of Isaac on his birthday last year. He had to taste the cake to make sure it was alright before we could dig in and eat it. Paper is from Whoop De Doo combined with some Daydream Ensemble. Green chipboard are from Target dollar spot and the smaller font I won in a challenge online so dont know the name. Distressed Heidi Swapp flower and chipboard with brown chalk ink.
Paper is GCD Studio Whoop De Doo collection. I luv the colors in this almost look like the new Fancy CS colors they came out with this year. Perfect for boy LO's. I called this LO Rain tradition becuz growing up in the Philippines it was tradition to play in the rain when it was the rainy season. I dont know if there was not enough water to go around so we had to take advantage of taking a shower in the rain or a real tradition. hehehhe But in any case I make it a point or a tradition that once rainy season starts you can guarantee to see me and my kids playing outside in the rain. People might think I am crazy but I love the memories we have made with this simple tradition. Plus my kids think I am a fun mom! ; ) Of course there is no picture of me wet and playing since I am the only picture taker. Maybe since Jorge is home now he can take picture of us next time.

Finished these LO's last night. Using GCD Studio's Rose Colored Glass paper collection. This pad is awesome cuz it is all girly and pink.....perfect for my CHABELLA! Used Daisy D polkadot rickrack, bling, AMC thickers and Stampin Up calendar stamps. Cut out the flowers from another exact paper to make the 3D look and make it more heavy. Luv how it turned. Very simple but cute. I made my own scallope paper using black polkadot paper from Scrapworks paper pad. I also roughed up the edges of the paper to make it more look shabby. This is the make n take at the Heidi Swapp booth at CHA. The PP is just a print out with the corner and circle journal space. They also provided the butterflies and happiness tag. Everthing else is mine. Princess and daughter chipboard are KandCo., bling is from Target dollar spot and the words "you bring me" are my handwritting. This is a picture of Isabella in one of her all time fave outfit (ballerina dress).

More CHA pictures!

This was the first night after CI party. First time meeting the AMM DT ladies. I don't really remember what we were cracking up about but it looks like it was really funny! ha. From the left Meredith, Michelle, Amy, Allison and myself. And we haven't even had drinks yet...talking about me.
A Million Memories own Allison and Michelle. Of course me in the middle. Thank you guys so much for letting me enjoy this CHA with you and the DT's. First day and we were already having the best time. I was so giddy to be able to come back and spend some more time with the both of ya.M&M's! Michelle and Michelle. I still think you look gorgeous in that sweater. HOT MAMA!
Showing a lil bit of luv and then of course a crazy picture of myself! Never fails!
We also got to meet Donna Downey and her hubby Bill. I wonder where the picture of that is? He was so nice and she was too. We caught them early on the second day of CHA before it got really busy. Which was a good thing cuz she was soo happy to take pics with us.
Michelle with Ms. Bowlin. Her booth is soo small but jam pack full of eye candy. She was very sweet as well in person. Gorgeous I might add from head to toe.
Anna Griffin and myself. I kinda stalked her for this picture. Some lady was talking to her forever and I just did not want to interrupt. That's just RUDE! But finally I got my picture. Her booth was so elegant and lady like. Kinda like how you would want your bedroom to be all girly. Luv all the stuff she makes. I am so glad AMM will carry a lot of her products and cant wait to get a hold of it. YUMMY!
Talking about yummy! These were hot in at CHA, they were all over the place. And not just in fabric even in paper. But I mostly luv the handcrafted one's made out of fabric or old sweater. Aren't they just the cutest little things. I wanna learn how to make these so I can display them in my scrap room.
A quick snapshot of me with a giant paper flower at the Salon Paper booth. They were really cute and I thought it would make my face look better if I pose next to it.
Oh and last but not the least the only picture we could snap the day we saw Lisa Bearnson. As I said on the other post she was with suit's and ties and Karen took a quick snapshot of her looking at some Elsie products. A big thank you to Karen for letting me post this pictures taken by her. Thank you Karen!

Dinner at the brewery!

Picture of everyone at the dinner party. It was soo funny I think just after this picture the girls in the back knocked down empty beer barrels in the back. And I took off running so I wont get blamed. It was soo loud I am sure the whole restaurant heard us. It was soo funny, its not like we didnt attrack enough attention with the whole bunch of us standin around taking pictures.
This is Alissa my long lost sister from another motha! hehehe This was the first night I met her and we both look at each other and said "you look so familiar, I know you from somewhere!" We never did figure out where we met before but we both felt a sense of familiarity with each other. We felt so comfortable that this picture says it all. Even my friend Michelle was wondering if I knew her and if this was a planned meeting and no it was not. I am just happy to get to meet girls that are awesome and fun to hang around with. Alissa is soo sweet and beautiful. We have a little challenge going on right now so will have to post that when we are done. We both won the same kit with the same exact stuff from Label Tulip so she turned around and said "I think a challenge is in order." hehehehe I am so glad to go to meet you Alissa.
One silly picture to end the night. These girls were so awesome and fun. Although I got stuck at the end and was so hard to get to talk to anyone I had so much fun. A little emotional but a great time. Oh and by the way the chef on that restaurant must have been in a bad mood cuz all our food was spicy as hell even the pizza sauce. hehehe

CHA Virgin!

First the flight to LAX. Just wanted a quick snapshots of my flight to LA. It was so early in the morning that I got to see the sun coming up. It was great to just sit there all by myself drinking my Starbucks coffee. And since I didnt have to share the area with another passenger I got to lay down and take a quick nap which was needed cuz I could not sleep in my hotel room in Atlanta. Cuz my hubby was not next to me!This is my first CHA so you will understand the volume of pictures that I took. I decided that since I dont know when the next opportunity will come knocking at my door I might as well take advantage and enjoy the event to the fullest. I did not hesitate to ask for pictures and enjoyed every second of it. I learned so much, got to see so much and met amazing people. Thanks to AMM (a million memories for this opportunity) Michelle and Allison were just awesome host and so glad that I got the chance to get to know them so much more. So shall we proceed with the abundance of pictures. Here are some of my fave's @ CHA!

The first night I got to go to the CI (Creative Imagination) party with Michelle and Allison and we got to meet Kristine Adolf. She has come out with some new products and my fave is using her foil and adhesive rub ons and creating this settle but unique look. I luv how she used just an ordinary dot adhesive to creat a look of dimension to this bird in front of this album. Its hard to see but man it looks awesome. She was really sweet in person too.

Of course Heidi Swapp. I luv her booth. Her new paper line is soo cool. She is soo nice and gracious as well as her sister Katie who was working at the make and takes. They were generous with their products and just nice. I was a little scared to ask but she was really cool and someone in the booth offered to take our pictures even before I could ask to be in it. So cool meeting her in person.

Elsie what a cutie. I waited until the booth was not soo busy before asking her. She was kind and sweet and didnt even stop a beat when I asked her if I could take a picture with her. I think it was funny cuz everyone I was with knew I was there to take as much pics as I can with people I wanted to get to meet in person. Christina Contes was there also on this day but she was busy doing a video interview of some sort so didnt want to bother her as well. She is much shorter in person and styling a new haircut and color.

The next day at Elsie's booth, Lisa Bearnson was there (happened to be picking up a receipt) but I didnt ask to take a pic with her. She was with a bunch of people in suit's and seem to be having some kind of meeting so I didnt want to bother her. Lisa is really tall and skinny in person. I admit it was a little intimidating asking scrap celeb's as we call them to take pics cuz you just dont know what they will say or how they really are in person. But all in all I had nothing but great experience Tim Holtz one of my fave's. Let me tell you it was soo hard to not ask him to take a pic with me. But I did not cuz he was in the middle of teaching a make a take or show of using his product. I remember meeting him before in Carson Rubberstamp show but he was not as big as now. And boy there was quiet a few ladies watching him so I settled for this picture of him teaching how to use his inks. He is very nice in person and very approachable. I was just too shy to ask. Wish I would have caught him when he was not busy. Actually I did on the first day he was just standing around with someone at this booth but again I was too scared to ask I was by myself so I just kept on walking. hehehehe Here is a really geeky story about this picture. I saw Ali Edwards the first night at CI (creative imaginations) party. She was getting her food just a few steps ahead of us and I wanted to just jump and ask her for a picture....but I didnt cuz I was thinking man she is wanting to eat I will leave her alone. So that night I kinda stalked her but there are too many people talking to her. So Michelle and Allison tells me its okay she will be at CHA and will bound to see her again. The next day I see her again and once again she is stopped by a mob of people and like a geek I am too embarassed to ask. So finally the day before the last show I see her crouching on the floor talking to someone but a friend or something and Allison and Karen convinced now is the time and she would not mind since there isnt much people around. As soon as I asked she of course said "of course no problem." Yay! Then she stood up and all I could say to her "Oh my gosh you are so tall and I am soo short!" How embarassing she just kinda laugh and said yeah! Out of all things to say I say that. She was very sweet and nice. HOnestly she was the whole show everytime I see her she is smiling and I bow down to her cuz the whole show (well when I see her)she would be showing off her shoes and they are high. I dont know how she did it cuz everynight I was dying and so tired from walkint. She was so cute with her outfits and shoes matching...she looked great the whole CHA. Its a good thing I ask her on this day since we didnt make it for the last day of CHA and even though its blurry I luv this picture this is just after I said how tall she was and how short I am. You can tell we were chuckling about it but inside I was embarassed. hehehe

Simple Cards and candy box

Simple cards using Inque Boutique stamps (silhouttes), brown and gold color (chalk ink) and brown and white cardstock from Stampin Up. Really simple and quick cards.
Forgotten PP that I wanted to use so badly. I finally found the perfect project for them. I made a candy box for my son's teacher and aid. Used an old DCWV stack pad. Template for this project is from LifeasLou.blogspot. She made this project last week and I saw it at Inque Boutique and had to copy it. I luv how it turned out, you can go to her blog to get the template that she generously shared with everyone. Thanks! I will fill up this staircase box with candy and such.

Everybeat of my Heart!

Made this last night for my hubby for Valentines Day! I am not gonna be with him or the kids for the most part of the day due to CHA. So I wanted to make him something to show him how much I love him. Used my fave pics of us together from when we first got together to the present. Oh and no worries he wont see it he is soo busy with work he wont pass by and I will give it to him this Friday just before taking off to Atlanta. But I wanted to share it all with you cuz I am excited. hehehe
I used an old K and Co. chipboard box to hold the mini album in. Glittered LOVE word is from Target $1.00 spot from last year and all the paper is scrap or old. All distressing and ink are Chalk ink. I luv using old stuff cuz I am not afrait to make a mess or mistake. I didnt plan this out I just sat down and created it and went crazy. I think it turned out good. Journaling is mostly in the back of each pages. I really had fun creating this although I did stay up until 3:00 am and now I am beat. I used Inque Boutique Silhoutte stamp set .
