I got to work with the WONDERFUL and TURTLES AND TREES line from My Little Shoebox for my first month's assignments and very happy with what I was able to create. I love how they turned out and I am happy to share them with ya! I am posting them early becuz I will not be able to post them in the beginning of the month due to a family vacay trip to California. Hope you all like them.
It was really cute how the papers match this picture perfectly. I really wanted to keep this circle LO simple and focus on the picture. Just a quick and simple LO!
I cut the yellow polka dot PP from Turtles and Trees line and created my own shaped paper and
sewn it to red
card stock. Pretty simple for
background! I mixed Wonderful cut out papers with Turtles and Trees, circle shape paper and worked out nicely. Luv this simple page for
Chabella's silly pics!
Close up pics of the butterflies with a little
bling for the body. They are
soo cute and addicting to make too! I added
bling on the flowers too, easy
peasy!
Core'dinations/My Little Shoebox assignments. I was able to work with Black Magic from
Coredinations and they were so much fun. They work perfectly with My Little Shoebox PP. For this first LO, I crumpled up the CS and sanded it creating a distressed look. I inked and tore a PP from the Wonderful line for my background paper and made simple circle flowers from the same line for my
embellishments. Using some old sheer from
MLS products for accents completed the page.
Core'dinations Black Magic with green core worked perfectly with Turtles and Trees PP. Created this page for my son's First Day of School for 2
nd grade. I tore the CS to create an opening and glued it to T&T PP. Folded some of the torn CS back to show the green core. Used some of the shaped borders and a circle shape paper from Wonderful line to frame the main pic. Added sheer house and tree, a few red heart shaped buttons,
journaling spot, mini alpha and glittered stickers to complete the page. Simple!
Oooh, Black Magic is perfect for my last LO
cuz I wanted it to look like a chalkboard. I created this simple LO for my daughter
Chabella on her first day of school for
Pre K when we were still in Ga. I put her room number, day and teacher on top right to copy on how they do it at school. I hand wrote the letters and line and backed it with T&T PP and
WALAH! Done! Oh I also sanded the
card stock to create like a chalk board had been erased look.
I dry embossed some flowers on the corner and line just to create an accent or interest. Really simple LO!
Here are my projects for both
MLS and Core: tag and card for teacher
I used MLS chip letters behind the Core CS and use them as my stencil for the ABC tag. Hold firmly to letters so they don't move around, sand and you can create the same look. Back it with Turtles and Trees PP and cut using shape scissors from Martha Stewart and your done!Easy!
