Amillionmemories.com NSD weekend Crop

I am so so excited because this is my first time putting together a weekend crop for AMM. I will have to thank the whole entire DT for working hard and helping me make this happen. Every single one of them are just so awesome and helpful. From the beginning they have volunteered to help in any way they can so I have to say that this really made my job really easy and could never happen without them. So AMM DT's I thank you so much.

So where are you spending National Scrapbooking Day? I know that I always look forward to this weekend because of all the site's that are hosting crop's. And I hope this year you will join me at the site I love!! Not just because I am part of the team, but because it is truly a nice place to hang out and everyone is soo nice and positive. I cant wait for this weekend to play and crop with everyone. And I know that I will get to finish LO's, cards and projects that I have been putting off or find reason to put aside. Now I don't have an excuse, I have to SCRAP!

We have a wonderful weekend planned for you. If you like challenges, games and prizes then this is the place where you want to be! There are challenges and games every hour for you to enjoy, chats throughout the day, get to know the entire team of AMM, meet, inspire and challenge fellow scrapbookers here at AMM. This weekend will be fun, fast phase, gobs of prizes to be won and we will keep you so busy that at the end of the day you will have tons of LO's & projects completed and the best part.... a whole lot of your *STASH* used up to make room for the new ones you will get a chance to W*I*N!!!!

The weekend officially starts Friday May 2nd with a CHAT and postings of a couple challenges to get you warmed up for the crazy fun we have planned for Saturday May 3rd National Scrapbooking Day through Sunday May 4th. Nothing is due until Sunday May 4th at midnight so you will get to choose one or as many challenges you want to participate in or do them all! If you enjoy Sketch challenges, Theme challenges, playing Bingo and a few Surprise challenges and games then come join us! Every game, LO's, cards, and projects you complete your name will go in the drawing for the Grand prize. But wait!!! AMM DT entry

A LO that I just one day came up with. I luv the idea of having a page inside a page and make it float. Almost like using the background paper as a frame. The Hambly screen print is attach to the PP frame by a black thread. Everyone seems to think its staples which now thinking back maybe it would have been easier but no it's a black thread. It was very hard to photograph because it is so flimsy and not support. I had to hold with clips agains the white sheet just to keep it straight.

Mani & Pedi LO. I used a lace paper and used it for my background. I am really into LO that seem to just float and not have backing on them.

My altered item is a paper mache egg and I created a theater style look. I luv how this turned out. Too bad my dog ate it right after I took a picture of it.

New Events Marketing Director of AMM

Ok so this is long over due. I was asked to be the Events Marketing Director by Michelle, the owner of Amillionmemories, and I am more than happy but most of all honored that she trusted and believes in me enough to give me this position.
I am so excited to get going and do a good job. I am excited for what is in store for me and I know that there are a lot of things to learn and only with experience will I be really good at what I do. But in any case I am so giddy and just excited! I just wanted to share this with all of you and share my happiness.

Officially on the market

Well we finally had to do it. The Army has decided it is time for us to move again but do not know when and where yet! Typical! So it has been crazy and I am so tired of cleaning and organizing. I am gonna keep it short and will post a picture just to share. I hope we sell it soon cuz I don't know if I can keep up with it. Living in the house you are trying to sell with 2 kids, 2 dogs, husband and your daily routine and life. I don't think I can keep this up living in a perfectly cuaft house with no mess and empty spaces. This is CRAZZZZY! Aaaahhhh!

I finally got one!

Jorge finally convince me and got me a new sewing machine. YAY! You dont even know how bad and long I have been wanting one of these. So for my first project I created this. I got this fabric already smutch like this and all I had to do was finish the sides from Hobby Lobby a couple of months back. I have been wanting to sew so I have so much projects I have been saving and buying little by little hoping one day I will have a sewing machine. So finally I can do them now. Cannot wait to share more projects with you all. I am so excited I want to take sewing classes now. I want to make clothes for chabella cuz as you can see with these pictures how much she luvs to model for me. She wore the dress for 2 whole days and wont let it get washed. I finally got it off of her last night. I told her it needs to be washed.

Some stuff I've been working on!

Michelle from Amillionmemories let me play with these papers from Daisy D's. New release from CHA '08 winter Anaheim. I luv how fun they are and that you can just play. You dont need to worry about precision or making a mistake. These were so much fun to play with. I will be adding them to an altered book I am working on and will post those later. First LO is of my daughter Isabella on her 3rd bday last year. She ussually take's great pictures but that day she just wanted to eat her cake and to be left alone but she luvs me sooo much she gave me a fake smile to make me happy. What a sweet child! hehehe

This is going in my About Me album. I am making so much more effort in adding pages to this becuz I find it is the last thing I would even do. But now I realize how important it is for my kids to see me as well. I am trying to do a more fun shabby look. This was one of the few pictures I have of myself when I was a baby. I had to actually steal this from my Aunts album that is turning yellow becuz it is in those old acidic albums. I wanted to save it cuz she wont let me take them out and put in a new album. Last resort steal it from her......hehehehhe I told her later on. I told her I am just making copies and giving it back. Yeah right!
